We use IoT and AI technology in our hotel energy-saving solutions.

Remote and Guest-centric HVAC Energy Automation

Moving away from a keycard-based hotel room energy-saving system, our sensitive and wireless sensors detect live room occupancy status in hotel guest rooms and send data immediately to automate temperature settings, optimising energy efficiency in hotels without compromising guest satisfaction.

Smart Room Maintenance

Our interconnected network of devices continuously monitors room environments and HVAC system performance, providing actionable insights on equipment malfunction and humidity issues helping to avoid costly repairs and ensure optimal room conditions for maximum guest satisfaction.

Operational Efficiency and Productivity

Our cloud-based dashboard reports live data of HVAC system performance and room condition every 15 minutes. Accessible to all hotel operational team(s) (Housekeeping, room services and engineer team), these real-time data and actionable insights maximise operational productivity and efficiency.

HOW IT WORKS

Detecting live occupancy status

Our ceiling-mounted occupancy sensor detects movements in the room and reports occupancy status in real-time to the gateway for the data to process.

Automating in-room HVAC settings

Our Gateway holds the hotel rooms' HVAC settings and communicates the action to the thermostat when it receives the occupancy status data that a room is empty. The thermostat then either turns off the HVAC or changes its settings to a more energy-efficient mode.

Configuring automation modes and settings

The automation is completely configurable via our cloud-based dashboard at building or room level, based on hotels instructions. Users can remotely adjust setpoints limitations, automation hours and different energy-saving modes.

Detecting live room environmental data

Our suite of door sensors, smart thermostats and energy meter(s) continuously tracks and collect data on guest room environments such as detecting opened doors, measuring the room's humidity level and air pressure, and monitoring HVAC energy consumption.

Processing and reporting all datasets

All room environmental data points are sent to the Gateway to be collected and reported via our online dashboard in real-time. With comprehensive datasets and data points being collected, hotel engineers and our data team analyses and interpret the trends to generate actionable insights to strategise operations.

Conducting data-driven room maintenance

The engineering team is able to monitor the impact of maintenance work on HVAC performance, cost, and humidity with our timely alerts on guest rooms that are at risk of humidity issues and/or rooms with faulty HVAC systems.

Collecting room and system data sets

Our family of sensitive, wireless sensor devices collect a comprehensive set of live data on guest room occupancies and set-points, room temperatures and humidity, as well as HVAC performance and energy consumption.

Remotely monitoring and managing rooms

Our gateway instantly collects and reports all the data via a live, cloud-based dashboard. Hotel staff can remotely view the hotel’s environment status and control the HVAC settings of any room, minimising unnecessary contact with guests while greatly speeding up resolution times of any HVAC complaints.

Strategising operational plans and management

Hotel operational staff uses insights from the real-time and property-wide view of individual rooms’ occupancy and system performance status to conduct strategic and efficient operational activities, such as housekeeping, maintenance schedules and other room services.
